Outdoor Kitchen

Dynamic Cooking Systems (DCS) began operations in 1989 with appliance engineers and designers that were at the top of their fields throughout the country. Before becoming a leader in the industry with their outdoor DCS grills, the company began with high-end drop-in cook tops that would become the envy of any commercial establishment. They produced high performance ranges, convection ovens, broilers, and griddles for the food service industry.

As a complement to the outdoor barbecue, DCS created outdoor gas heaters so that the experience could be enjoyed year-round. In 2004, Fisher and Paykel Appliances bought DCS as an innovator in the industry, and brought along manufacturing facilities worldwide. Their products come from over forty countries. Over two thousand storefronts offer the products and over one thousand service organizations are supported.

DCS grills are all made with heavy 304-gauge stainless steel, making the line one of the finest crafted in the industry. Also, with stainless steel, you have no worries of rust, and these puppies can last in any type of weather for year round grilling.

Outdoor Barbecue

You can pretty much have a backyard kitchen so you never have to leave your yard while entertaining. There are many different kinds of grills. Like I said there are simple charcoal grills. There are electric grills and there are gas grills. There are grills that are real small, which you can pick up with one hand and move them around to great big huge grills. Making Perfect Pancakes

Pancakes make a perfect breakfast, but making perfect pancakes can be tricky. There are a few easy tips to follow that will help one avoid the most common pitfalls and challenges that have stumped even the best chefs. Transform the perfect pancake from myth to plate with careful preparation, a little patience, and these simple steps.

As with any food, making the perfect pancake begins with high-quality ingredients. Baking powder should be refreshed every six months to ensure the leavening agents are working at an optimal level. Old baking powder can create droopy, heavy pancakes that refuse to rise. Flour and sugar should be no more than a year old to assure freshness, and milk and eggs should be used within a few days of purchase.

Mix the ingredients until the flour is moist, stopping before the batter is free of lumps. Over mixing can cause the batter to get runny, causing the finished product to more resemble crepes than pancakes. The lumps may be disconcerting to some, but they will disperse while cooking.

Rival Electric Skillet

Rival Electric skillet are basically frying pans which are usually square or oblong in shape, and consist of flat cooking surfaces, long insulated handles, and sides flaring outwards. It utilizes electricity to serve its primary function of frying, searing or browning food, thus enabling it to function even without a cooking stove. It is equipped with the capability of frying foods over very high temperatures and distributing heat evenly. These can be as small as a 12 by 12 inch square or a 12- diameter pan and can be as large as an 18 by 18 inch square or an 18- diameter pan. In more advanced rival electric skillet, cooking temperatures are controlled through an adjustable thermostat which can be easily removed or detached whenever necessary such as when the skillet is washed.

In comparison, non- electric skillet or plain frying pans are usually round-shaped. They require cooking stoves to fry, sear or brown foods, thus unable to distribute heat evenly. The amount of heat in this cooking device cannot be specifically regulated as it is directly proportional to the heat from the stove, unlike electric skillet which are popular for their thermostatic control feature. They usually come in smaller sizes, ranging from 8 inches diameter to 12 inches diameter, making them more useful when cooking. Most, if not all rival electric skillet are made up of stainless steel or aluminum a coating is usually applied to their surface to make them non-stick.
